Programming remotes to work with the Nakremotes.

All Nakremotes are designed to respond to Sony VCR and LDP (laser disc player) remote codes. There are three unique device codes for Sony VCR. They are for Beta VCRs, 8mm VCRs and VHS VCRs. By using this up to four Nakremotes can be used in the same area.

Silver RCA RCU-300

Programming: Press and hold the Code Search button until the red light lights up and stays on. Release the button. Press and release the VCR-DVD button. Enter the three digit device code. The default code for Nakremotes is 119, but, depending on the internal jumpers in the Nakremote it could be 098 or 099. After the code is entered the red light will blink once and go off. This indicates that programmed sucessful. If the light blinks multiple times programming was not sucessful.

Silver Sony RM-V310

Programming: Press and hold the SET button down while pressing and releasing the Power button. Then release the Set button. Press and release the VCR button. Enter the three digit device code followed by the ENT button. This 3 digit code is either 001, 002 or 003 depending on the internal jumpers in the Nakremote.

For other remotes follow the directions for that remote and in the device list try all the codes listed for Sony VCR. Most of the time there are only three codes. If there are more, it's usually the lowest numbered codes.
